this is a clip of another experiment i did. again, i tried using some tape decks to record all the strings and a barely noticeable percussion layer, then dicked around with the sounds digitally. i managed to get a pretty good accordion sound. it would be fun to revisit this one and add a few glitch drum tracks with meaty bass, and some high guitar wails

a really old tune i made. i had to cut the bass wayy down to make it a ringtone, so it sounds kindaa shitsberg

tried to get a hollow, tin sound on the guitar without taking too much away from the tone, and i ended up with this quasi-talkbox sound.  the background rhythm guitar came out a little muddy, but i don’t really mind the color it brings.  perhaps next time i will consider a more uniform compression.  west coasttt
