borrowed my buddy’s roland kit for a night, and foolishness ensued. i recorded the kit direct, then recorded 2 guitar tracks also direct, hence the terrible tone. here’s a little clip of my accident

here’s a really simple little guitar ditty. i’m from the ol john frusciante school of keeping mistakes in the song. the point is to let mistakes go, and have them become part of the song’s character. or maybe i’m just lazy

this is a clip of another experiment i did. again, i tried using some tape decks to record all the strings and a barely noticeable percussion layer, then dicked around with the sounds digitally. i managed to get a pretty good accordion sound. it would be fun to revisit this one and add a few glitch drum tracks with meaty bass, and some high guitar wails
